Distortion in Audio (Synthesis Quality Issue)

Modified on Mon, 27 Nov, 2023 at 8:04 AM

To troubleshoot the synthesis quality, follow the below steps:

  • Use a USB headphone
    • If already using a USB headset, try changing to a new headset
  • Ensure the correct input microphone is selected in the Sanas Application
  • Turn off any dialer settings related to Noise cancellation, echo cancellation, noise suppression, and Auto adjust mic sensitivity
  • Suggest keeping the speech volume level above 65 dB (Please test your speech volume using a decibel meter, Ex. https://youlean.co/online-loudness-meter/)
  • Refer to the Microphone Positioning Best Practice as shown below

To adjust the headband, lengthen or shorten the band until it fits comfortably. The click-stop feature keeps the headband securely adjusted.
Carefully bend and shape the boom with both hands as shown.
Position the boom so that the microphone is two finger-widths from the corner of your mouth.

Avoid placing the microphone directly in front of your mouth or putting your lips in contact with the microphone.
Do not place the mic right under the nose to avoid breathing directly into the mic.
