Installation

Download

To download Sanas Desktop App, go to https://portal.sanas.ai and click the “Downloads->Accent Translator” to get the latest installer.

 

Installation Steps

  • Click on the Sanas version that you want to install and the .exe will begin downloading
  • Double-click on the downloaded .exe to open the Sanas Accent Translator Setup


 


 

  • Accept the End-User license agreement and continue the installation.

 

 

 

  • Select the destination folder to install the application.
  • Click on “Change” to change the default destination folder.

 

 

  • Click on Install to continue the installation.

 

 

 

 

  • Click on finish to complete the installation.

 

 


How to launch the Application

Open the Application

  • Open the Sanas Accent Translator, you may need to search for it in the Start menu. 
  • Launch the app. 
  • If you do not see the Sanas main window on the desktop, go to the system hidden tray to find Sanas app.

 

This is the main window of the desktop application:


 

 

Close the Application

  • To close or minimize the main window, click on the "X" in the top right corner of the Sanas app main window. You can also click on the menu in the top left corner of the app and select “close”.
  • Note: The app will disappear from the taskbar and can be found in the tray view.
  • To quit the application, right-click on the app icon in the system tray and click “Exit”.

 

Activate the Sanas Accent Translator

  • Click on the "here" link in the “No valid license found. Click here to enter the license details” message at the bottom of the app (as shown in the image below) to open the license management page.
  • Alternatively, you can click on the hamburger icon on the top left corner of the Sanas app to access the License details.




  • Apply a valid license key in the pop-up window as shown below. If the license is valid, the details will be populated in the Current License Details section.



  • The licensed customer name will appear on the main window as shown below. 




Input Device

  • On the Sanas main window, select the physical microphone from the “Input” drop-down list.



  • Speak into the selected microphone to test the connectivity. 
  • The movement in the voice meter below the dropdown will confirm the connectivity of the physical microphone with Sanas Accent Translator.


 


How to Enable & Disable Sanas Accent Translator

  • To enable Accent Translation or Voice Enhancement, click the toggle switch as shown in the image below.
  • In the “Voices” drop-down select Masculine or Feminine to determine how your translated speech will sound



  • To disable Accent Translation or Voice Enhancement, click the toggle switch as shown in the image below.




App Settings and Other Features

Access Application Settings 

  • Click on the Hamburger icon (three lines) to access the settings section.




About Section

  • Click on the “About” section to know the details of the application:
    1. Version
    2. Voice Converter Engine
    3. Model Version
    4. Environment
    5. Built on Date
    6. Copyright Information




License Details

  • Use this section to input the License key or view license details.




Submit a Feedback

  • Use this section to submit feedback or an issue in the application.
  • Click on Feedback 
  • Select the appropriate option from the dropdown 
  • Check all the three boxes in the additional data section (recommended)
